An automated export of clockings from HikCentral may be configured for integrating with Jarrison Time. HikCentral v3.0.1 is recommended for this integration.
HikCentral must be activated. Note that the T&A module is not required if exporting to Jarrison Time.
1) Login in the HikCentral Web Client. Select the Menu icon at the top to display the drop-down menu and then select System

2) In the left-hand panel select Third-Party Integration and then Data Interchange

3) Enable the Data Interchange option to display new available options

4) Then add the Devices that will be exporting the clockings from. Select the Add button next to Resource for Card Swiping. Select Specified Resources in the right-hand panel. Another panel will display the Hikvision devices that have been setup in HikCentral. Select the relevant devices, but keep in mind that the direction will need to be selected for the added devices. IN and OUT devices will need to be added separately. Otherwise, null can be selected if there isn’t a specific direction for the devices. Select OK and then OK again to add the devices.

5) Select the Access Dump Records option and then select Rule.

A new page will be displayed to setup the Clocking File format.
Overwrite file – Will overwrite the existing clocking file when exporting
Filename – Will be the name of the file that will be exported. If overwrite is disabled, the filename will include the datestamp of when the file was created. The date format can also be chosen.
Storage Location – This will be where the clocking file will be exported to. Select the Folder icon to browse for the location.
Content – The clockings file will export whatever is setup here. This will need to be changed to the clocking file format JT uses to import clockings. For example; the Person ID, Access Date, Card Swiping Time will export the employee’s ID, the date of the clocking, the time of the clocking respectively that is required in the JT Clocking File format. There should also be a comma (,) to separate the content.

6) Scroll down to the bottom to change the additional settings.
Generate Table Header – This will generate the headers of the column in the clocking file
File format – The clocking file can either be set to CSV or TXT.
Dump Frequency – Select the interval at which the clocking file should be exported. The options are Day, Week, Month and Custom.
Dump Every:
Day – Select what time each day the clocking file needs to be exported
Week – Select the week day the clocking file needs to be exported
Month – Select the day of the month the clocking file needs to be exported
Custom (HH:MM) – To set a custom time in HH:MM the clocking file needs to be exported
7) Select Save to apply the changed settings

Please note that as soon as Save is selected, a clockings file will be exported. The clocking file will then be exported as setup in the Dump Frequency. In the case of selecting a Custom frequency and setting it to export every 15 minutes, selecting Save will create the clocking file immediately and then export the next clocking file 15 minutes after that and then so on and so forth.
To configure Jarrison Time for importing, in Jarrison Time go to System Configuration > Import Clockings tab. The Location should be set to IMPORT FILE. The Path of the file from HikCentral should be entered. All Files can be entered as the Filename, allowing any unimported file(s) within the Path folder (or sub-folders) to be imported. Imported file names are suffixed with the date and time of import.

Clocking files will start being imported by the JT Engine, or they can be manually imported by going to Import > Clockings, and clicking Import.

The Engine import interval can be set from the Engine tab, Collect transactions every setting.
